Your CallButler PBX offers Mobile PBX (SM) features that allow any phone to function like a high-end desk phone. This allows you to be just as productive when you take a call on your mobile phone as when you are sitting in your office.

Call Screening

When you receive a call at your CallButler extension, you hear "You have a call from [Name and or number]. To answer this call, press 1. To send this call to voicemail, press 2." This allows you to decide whether to take the call before answering it.

Note: you can disable the Call Screen feature by editing your extension and unchecking the Call Screen box.

After You Have Answered a Call
Once you have accepted the call, CallButler offers advanced options that you can use during your call:
 • Press "1": Transfer. This will allow you to transfer the call to another extension or telephone number. CallButler will prompt you to enter the extension number or telephone number.
 • Press "5": Record. Record the conversation and have it Emailed to you. Press 5 once to start recording. Press 5 again to stop the recording. The recording will automatically be stopped if the call ends.
 • Press "*": Help. Get help on the different options available.
 • Press "#": Hold. Put the call on hold with hold music. Press 0 again to take the call back off of hold.
These in-call features will not be available if the "Hand off call transfers" option is set in for an extension. For more information on this option, please see the Extension Reference in the CallButler Users Manual.

The Mobile PBX (SM) features are not enabled on outbound calls to avoid conflict with other auto-attendants.
