Is it possible to add data or replace the Caller ID in an intelescript when transfering a call??

in part of my script i have the caller input an account number, and later in the script it transfers the call, I was hoping to get the account info to transfer with the call via caller ID field.

is this possible?

You can customize the caller ID in your CallButler PBX.  If you look in the folder C:\Program Files\CallButler\Service, there is a file called CallButler Service SETTINGS.  Open this file with Notepad or WordPad.  You will see a line:

<Setting Name="CustomIncomingCallerID">Customer #CustNumber#</Setting>

You can modify this setting to include whatever information you want.  For example, you can pull the customer account number from a database, set it as a variable and "push" that information in the Caller ID.  Make sure to save the SETTINGS file after you make the changes and stop/restart CallButler.

Note: not all phones will show a custom caller ID, however, most IP phones do support this functionality.
